Early Childhood Experience

A. Happy or Sad Experience:

One of my unforgettable sad experience is when I am 7 years old. I was hospitalized because of dengue. That time I'm still staying at our province in Laguna. After three days of stay in the hospital, the doctors approached my parents and told them that I already need to be transferred in a hospital here in Manila because my sickness is already complicated and that time they don't have any apparatus for me to use.

Riding an ambulance, we traveled here in Manila while my youngest sister, Sarah stayed at the hospital in Laguna, because she also have a dengue but not as complicated as mine. Then, the doctors brought me through the ICU and stayed there for 3-4 days. Everybody thinks that I may not live anymore, that's how complicated my sickness is. My stay in the ICU was the worst days I ever had. On my second day of stay there, one of the patient next to me, died. Another thing is, from time to time, the nurses have to test my blood so they have to get some blood from me. Aside from that, my parents can't stay beside me all the time because visitors are only allowed to enter the ICU during the alloted time of the hospital. My parents and family members can't do anything but to wait for every results of my test and pray.

Thank God for healing me and giving me another chance to live! (;

B. False Beliefs:
When we were young, I believe that  KISSES are multiplying. Even my sisters, we used to ask our aunt to buy us some of it, different colors of course, when she's going to our house, because we're not allowed to go outside our house after school. We're taking care of those kisses, putting cottons to their shelves and even giving them names.

C. Supernatural Phenomenons/Beliefs:

A supernatural phenomenons that I believe when I was young is when my parents, tito's and tita's and also my lola are telling me that if we went outside our house at afternoon and every night, I will be get by a "sipay". I am so afraid that time because they're also telling me that I may not be able to get home again.
